I took a day trip from Tapei to the mountain town of Wulai.

Wulai is famous for this waterfall. It is a nice one.

From Wulai I walked up this valley a few miles to a park.

On the hike I nearly ran into this giant spider. I nervously put my hand near it for some scale.

Here is another view of that arachnid.

The park I hiked to had some nice waterfalls.

More waterfalling

In bio 220 I learned about epiphytes. In Taiwan I saw a lot of epiphytes.

Some funky flowers I found. They look like creamscicles and I wanted to lick them.

Back in Wulai I walked down these stairs because the lock on the gate was broken. I was deathly afraid of walking into a spider.

At the bottom of the stairs I got a better view of the waterfall that is Wulai.
