My first weekend here in Munich I looked around like a tourist. I first
thoroughly explored the olympia park and then I explored the downtown area
of Munich.

The silhouette of the Olympia Tower where Heather and I dined. It is
Munichs Version of the Space Needle. (Or maybe the Space Needle is
Seattle's version of the Olympia Turm)

Another pic of the tower. It looks much smaller in this picture than it
really is.

Bavarian Motor Work office building.

The olympic stadiums from one side.

The stadiums from another angle.

Tower and stadium.

If you zoom in on that picture you can see the apartment complex that I
live in. (Olympiadorf) My building is shorter and behind the large post
somewhere.
My mode of transportation is no longer red truck, ferry, or bus, but 'U-Bahn.'

The town hall in Marienplatz. (The church in the background will be
featured in the next few pictures)

This church, the Frauen Kirche, is the most famous church in Munich and
is likely to grace any brochure or photographic description of Munich.

A yellow church (actually called the Theatiner Kirche) with the Frauen
Kirche in the background.

Rowr, ROWR; rowr*

One square featured an outdoor skate rink. Maybe I will test it out one
snowy night.

An attempted photo of the moon.
