It has become an annual tradition now
for Heather and I to bus a group of friends up to Whistler for some skiing
and partying times. 2003's edition featured myself and Heather, Jesse (the
only returning star from last year), and the Webb twins who had never
skied before. Two nights at the Mountainside lodge (five feet from the
lift and heated pool), two days on the slopes, and two evenings in the
Dublin Gate bar. We enjoyed ourselves.

The culprits, Jeremy, Erik, Heather, Josh, and Jesse.

No traffic on the drive up, didn't get in trouble for overloading the
room, the lines at the lifts, great snow, beautiful weather, and to top it
off we got to ride on chair number one.

It was Heather, Jesse, and I skiing together all of the first day. The
Webbs were off getting schooled. Here is Heather skiing a badass of a run
that I selected.

After skiing with my skis for four days I have come to appreciate them. I
can do anything with my new skis.

Multiple times we were asked to accompany little tykes on the chair lifts.
Heather was rightfully freaked that this four year old would slip off of
the chair.

Occasionally we would stop to have snow ball fights.

Jesse got dominated.

Heather skiing the trees. Watch out for bears!

The next day we rode up the gondola all together to Whistler. We asked the
unlucky random person who had to ride with us to take a photo. Here is her
poor attempt.

We taught the Webbs how to ride the big scary chair lift.

The customary self portrait. Jeremy and I.

After getting the Webbs up on their feet after getting off of the lift, we
began schooling them.

It took some hard falls on the bunny slope before they got the hang of it.
Take that snow! Jeremy doing a face plant.

Before we knew it, Josh was already a pro at having yard sales.

Do the snow plow Jeremy. Pizza pie.

We were all impressed, they eventually got a hang of this new fangled
thing called skiing. And by the end of the day they were making laps on
the Daisy chair. It is just as easy as holding cans of beer, right Josh?
