Heather and I have vowed to go on a weekend vacation once a quarter. This quarter (fall 2003) we went to the San Juans again, but to a different Island. We stayed in Deer Harbor on Orcas Island. It is super fun to drive around the island and explore. We drove on nearly every road on the island.

One of the first things we did was drive to the top of Mt. Constitution, which is the tallest mountain in the San Juans. We had an awesome view of Puget Sound, Bellingham (where my mom and brothers were for the weekend), and Mt. Baker.

Here is me enjoying the view.

Mt. Baker.

My girlfriend on Mt. Constitution.

Orcas Island has a lot of Madrona Trees on it.

Heather posing with a live Madrona and a dead one too.

Yah, really, what is the point?

Dressing up is free, so we dressed up nice to go out to dinner.

That big black thing there is me.

A long dock in Olga.

Your best friend.

This is where Heather is going to live when she gets older.
