My mom's dad's parents immigrated to America from Bohemia, which is now the Czech Republic. Heather and I had heard cool things about Prague and so we decided to spend our Easter 2003 there. It was much cooler than I expected.

The first thing I did was climb a tower on a hill to gain a top down view of Prague.

A self portrait of Heather and I in Wenceslas square in front of the national museum where much recent history has taken place.

We spent a lot of time in the 'old town square' market shopping for Prague's famous Easter eggs as well as other things. The weather decided to rain on us.

Upon recommendation from a Czech, we went to a Jazz club on Saturday night.

Prague is supposed to be one of the world's best lit cities.

Here is the castle from across the river.

We spent a lot of time on this statue lined bridge. The Charles Bridge.

We had an Easter lunch with an awesome view.

I bought this band's CD

We checked out the large castle and the large church inside of it.

We climbed up it because we could.

Me in front of the house that Kafka lived in.

Our last moments in Prague were spent on the Charles Bridge again.
